Strange creatures remain unsolved mysteries

  

     Have you ever been deep in the woods and found yourself startled by something large moving through the trees?  Or, perhaps you were boating on a faraway lake and saw a strange-looking creature poke its head out of the water.  You and millions of people worldwide wonder about these bizarre visions.  Bigfoot, the Loch Monster and other monsters are unsolved mysteries that are very complicated for humans.

     Monster mysteries have been confusing researchers and other people for centuries.  Mysterious monsters take a variety of forms (Rupert 7).  They may be large hairy creatures like Bigfoot, or they may be long-necked, serpent-looking things like the Loch Ness Monster.  Many people say these creatures are only myths, but there is evidence to support their existence (Rupert 7).

I. Monster Mysteries

          A. Mysterious monsters take a variety of forms.(Rupert 7)

II. Loch Ness Monster

          A. John Mackay said that he saw a huge object, which looked like the back of a whale. It rose up above the

              surface of the loch. The object was seen for about a minute before it sank off of view (Rupert 10).

III. Sea Monster

          A. On June 2, 1877. The British Royal Yacht Osborne was cruising through Mediterranean and had passed Sicily when

              three officers saw a very large animal, at least 16m (52ft) long. It had a large, wide body with two enormous

              flippers, a long neck and a small head.(Rupert 18)

IV. Sasquatch Monster Evidences

          A.1811 David Thompson sees strange foot prints and is told about the sasquatch.(Rupert 31)

          B.1922 Fred Beck and his party are attacked by sasquatch. (Rupert 31)

          C.1950 Bill Roe sees a sasquatch at short range (Rupert 31)

          D.1980 Accumulated evidences are subjected to scientific research, but still  

                      nothing is proofed. (Rupert 31)   

 V. About Bigfoot

          A. Known as Sasquatch

          B. Inhabiting forests

          C. It is a large and hairy bipedal humanoid.

VI. Large Footprints

          A. Eric Shipton photographed what he described as a Yeti footprints.

          B. In 1958 a large footprints where found in Humboldt County, California by Gerold Crew.

VII. Extinct Hominans

          A. Species of Parathropus with its crested skull and bipedal gait was suggested by primatologist John Napier and  

              anthropologist Gordon Strasenburg as a possible candidate for Bigfoot identity.

VIII. Bigfoot (Sasquatch)

          A. Sasquatch is described as a primate ranging from 6 to 15 feet tall, standing on two feet, often giving off a foul

               smell morning silently or emitting a high pitched cry. Footprints measure up to 24 inch in length and 8 inch in

               width.

IX. Momo the Monster

          A. Momo is similar to the Bigfoot.

          B. Lives in Missouri

          C. Shortly called "Missouri Monster"

          D. Have a large, pumpkin-shaped head with  a furry body, and hair covering the eyes.

X. Reports About Momo

          A. July 1971, near Louisiana, Missouri by Joan Mills and Mary Ryan, Momo has been spotted up and down the

              Mississippi River. It is a large, 7ft tall, hairy, black, manlike creature that eat dogs and emits a terrible odor.

XI. About Yeti

          A. Yeti or "Abominable Snowman" is an ape like cryptid said to inhabit the Himalayan region of Nepal and

              Tibet.

          B. The name Yeti is commonly used by the people indigenous to the region.

XII. Sucuriju

          A. 1907 Colonel Percy Fawett shoot a 19m(62ft) sucuriju

          B. 1948 A 40m(133ft) sucuriju was killed near Manaos.(Rupert 43)
